Stay on the lovely Costa Brava from 40 per double Room per night
For some travellers the Costa Brava conjours up images of package holidays hoards heading for the nearest local English pup to fill up with fish, chips and sangria. However this really is based on a few towns along the southern part of the Costa Brava which in reality do serve up that type of tourism in a very successful and honest way each year to many thousands of European tourists.

A traditional fishing port such as Sant Feliu de Guixols has beautiful architecture and a fine selection of restaurants. Its neighbour, the picturesque S'Agaro is a more Modernist destination for the rich and famous. Palafrugell has kept its well earned position as the head of its three coastal offshoots, Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu.

Platja d'Aro, originally a small fishing village between Palams and Sant Feliu de Guxols, has now become a popular holiday resort. Platja de Aro is situated along a 2 km beach and Castell d'Aro (that forms part of the same resort) with its historical centre and medieval charm is located 3 km inland.
