From FamiliasenRuta we would like to announce the launch of the "Spanish accomodation guide for eco-friendly families / Hbergements dans nature a l'Espagne avec des enfants, an e-book containing a selection of 161 different types of rural accommodation. As author of the guide, I am a great fan of eco-tourism, having travelled over the world. As the father of a nature-loving Spanish family I am only too aware of how important it is for families travelling with children to have the most reliable information available when planning a trip.
This book is as special as it is necessary: it is the first thematic guide in which readers can find a selection of 161 different accommodation options where they will receive a "family welcome". All the centres are set in natural surroundings, and are especially recommended for families travelling with children in any of the 17 autonomous communities which make up Spain.
One common denominator of all the centres is that they have been chosen according to a strict criterion. One can find country houses with rooms to rent and / or for full rental, hotels, campsites and hostels. We have tried to provide a variety of options to suit different tastes, styles and also budgets. All the centres included in the 2012 edition of this guide have received our "Familias bienvenidas Family Welcome 2012" seal.
