These are some of the main October festivals in Spain.
From the 16th to the 19th October there is an important trade fair in Zaragoza. ( Feria de Muestras ) Business and traders alike will be exhibiting everything from
Electrical supplies, Internet and telecommunications, cleaning services, to furniture and Insurance.
Its well worth a visit specially if you are thinking of setting up a new business in Spain, great place for making contacts and suppliers.
The Trade show is held on the Western outskirts of Zaragoza, following the N-II main Madrid highway.

There is also anither festival in Zaragoza on the 12th which is the Dia de Pilar and includes fasinating processions of giant figures.
The 9th October is the Dia de Valencia and a local holiday in that region. This fiesta is about pride. In 1238 Valencia was finally reconquered from Islamic rule , from which King Jaime established the Valencian kingdom as an autonomous region which in turn gave birth to the Valencian community as we know it today.
